Isaac Aman
He was born on 10 June 1951 at Mloe Village, Mango Parish in the Diocese of Moshi. After Primary School in Mango, he attended ordinary studies at St. James Junior Seminary 1966-1969, in Moshi and later Philosophy studies (1970-1971) at Ntungamo Major Seminary in the Diocese of Bukoba. Theology studies at Kipalapala Senior Seminary (1972-1975) in the Archdiocese Tabora
He was ordained a priest for the Diocese of Moshi on 29 June 1975 and has since ministered as follows: 1975-1976: Assistant Priest at Narumu Parish; 1976-1979: Assistant Parish Priest at Moshi Cathedral Church (Christ the King); 1980-1986: Teacher and Vice Rector at St. James Junior Seminary Moshi; 1986-1989: Studies in Education and Pastoral Counselling at Walsh University, Ohio, U.S.A.; 1990-2003: Chaplain and Formator for the Diocesan Congregation of the Brothers of the Redeemer; 1999-2004: Bishops’ delegate for religious. As from July 2003 to Nov. 21, 2007 when he was appointed by Pope Benedict XVI a bishop of Moshi Diocese
